With Truly Roaming, you'll generally find 4G signal at stations along the Laos-China Railway, such as Vang Vieng and Boten. However, be prepared for intermittent connectivity inside the numerous tunnels between Vientiane and Luang Prabang. While great for catching up on offline work, don't plan critical video calls during tunnel sections. It's a useful backup to the train's Wi-Fi, which can sometimes be unreliable.
