Will my SouthESIM work when I'm hiking in remote forests or mountain trails?

Updated April 22, 2026

While coverage can certainly be intermittent in very dense forests or extreme mountain terrain, SouthESIM aims to keep you connected where possible. We partner with local networks that often have wider reach beyond major cities. For example, if you're trekking through parts of the Patagonian Andes in Chile or exploring national parks in Costa Rica, you might find signal in clearings or at higher elevations. It's always a good idea to download offline maps, but your SouthESIM provides the best chance of staying in touch for safety or sharing quick updates.
